A Red Letter Day. . . thoughts on the color RED

Today I thought I would look into the color RED. Did you know that red has more personal associations than any other color? It is a stimulant and thus, very exciting and dramatic. The amount of red is directly related to the level of energy perceived.

Red draws attention and used well, it can accent and direct your attention or focus on a particular element.

In Greece, easter eggs are dyed red and they have an expression "piase kokkino" which means "touch red". They say this when two people say the same thing at the same time. It is believed that this is an omen that the two will have an argument in the future which can only be broken when the two of them touch the closest thing that is red.
